• Yesterday I was fascinated by the movie August Rush. It tells a story about two talented musicians falling in love with each other. The young man Louis was a bass player in a bank while Lyla was a beautiful and renewed cellist. In fact, Lyla was pregnant after their first night. But Lyla’s father didn’t want the young man to destroy his daughter’s future. During their unfriendly talk, Lyla left with anger and was knocked by the car. When she woke up, his father lied to her that the baby was dead in stomach. This kid was sent to the orphanage and gifted in music. Lyla and Louis didn’t meet each other for almost 12 years without knowing they had a son. Before Lyla’s father was dying in the hospital, he told her the truth and Lyla began to find her child. This child Evan, a prodigy born to music, was bullied by the children but still believed in the return of his father. And he went to New York to seek for his parents. And his talent was used by a monger who tried to make money and prevent Evan from success. But Evan ran to a church and the kind godfather sent him to the best musical school. And this led their family to reunite.

I strongly recommended this movie and I should say that Freddie Highmore was excellent. So I watched his another movie today The Spiderwick Chronicles. He acted twins with different personalities. Honestly, he did a good job.

And these days I just try to figure myself out and find what I want to do in the future. It may seem to be ridiculous that I should want to be a member in United Nation, especially Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Maybe it will come true one day, who knows.

Here the movies just help me to broaden my horizon, not to feel desperate about the messy and just to keep doing. 2011 will be a new year for me to explore my career and I want to see more, experience more and know myself better. And I try to form the habit of summary and paraphrase. And more importantly, I should practice my critical thinking and be more logical.

There’s too much to say. And what pleased me most is that I have my dream in heart.

    2011, come on!
